Androids Packshot

TITLE: Children of House EP / ARTIST: Androids / LABEL: Androids / RELEASE DATE: 26th November / CAT NO: ANDROIDS002

1. Children of House (Rock Mix)
2. Children of House (Odyysey Mix)

The Androids sound is house fused with techno and a grunge attitude to create a sound that can only be described as electro-rock.

Children of House” is the first single from the band. The A-side Rock mix is a minimal work out with an Original Moog riff supported by a classic vocal.

The AA Odyssey mix is in complete contrast to the flip side, with deep grooves and Underground Resistance style pads, offset against clever arpeggio riffs. The only thing that remains from the Rock mix is the classic vocal.

Meet the Androids:
For the first time in four years the original line up of Ignition Technician aka Wilko and Pete Simpson are back together; but this time they have added their best friend Paul Walker to the line up to create the new band Androids.

Ignition Technician are true pioneers of the international electronic music scene. Working as engineers for Cream, Bugged Out and the Orbit clubs, they have worked with artists such as Carl Cox, Dave Clarke, DJ Sasha, Underworld, Daft Punk, Basement Jaxx and the Chemical Brothers. Wilko was Paul Oakenfold‘s personal sound man for a year, and Pete engineered beats for Wu Tang Clan artist Timbo King.

As well as owning six labels, the Ignition boys are producing for some of the biggest electronic labels in world, backed up by dynamic DJ sets and live performances.
