If you don’t know about Border Crossing already then you soon will. Since the release of their critically acclaimed first album, “Ominous”, at the end of 2003 they have been gearing up for the notoriously difficult second album, “Freedom of Speech“. “Militant Style” is the first single taken from the new album, and is produced by Danny Briottet (Renegade Soundwave) and Border Crossing themselves, the sound is a diverse odyssey through reggae, soul, hip hop, dancehall and cinematic downbeat, all recognisably Border Crossing in execution.

Vicky Virtue, provides the gutsy vocals on “Militant Style” and reveals her love for the golden days of Motown and revival reggae while reflecting on some of the negativity that surrounds us in our everyday lives.

Border Crossing have just completed their first soundtrack for forthcoming British feature film “Dolphins“, featuring Roots Manuva and Ricky Ranking – another reason why 2007 will have been a big year for this act.
