After October’s successful “Bukem in Session”, the man himself returns with another monumental 3 hour instalment of his only UK residency.
Pushing the boundaries of the music we all know and love is something that is synonymous with LTJ Bukem and goodlooking. Always innovative and ever exciting, “Bukem in Session” has already proved itself to be ahead of its game.
Such unparalleled sets are a true example of Bukem’s ethos to this music. With years of artistic achievement, Bukem has continued promoting his unique sound, breaking new talent and giving something back to all the people who have supported him and his vision. These sets give him the opportunity to really show his true colours, taking the audience on a journey from the trademark soulful d&b that goodlooking is so well renowned for, to sounds a little deeper and darker.
An LTJ set is an amazing example of the passion and attitude that he has become so renowned for and having the opportunity to witness this on a monthly basis is something truly special! “Bukem in Session” will not only include artists from the goodlooking camp, but will also include support from the cream of drum and bass’s producers, both old and new.
This month sees support from recent newcomer Furney, A Sides and the legendary Total Science alongside MC Conrad, Moose and Dynamite.
Yet another top line-up, not only showcasing goodlooking’s meteoric rise back to being THE smiling face of soulful, deep-rolling drum and bass, but also bringing in some of the scenes’ top movers and shakers to fully represent the goodlooking sound. “Bukem in Session” will not only set the benchmark for the future, but develop the LTJ Bukem legacy: to create a musical philosophy, ensure its survival and allow its evolution.
