TITLE: Metalheadz Presents The Platinum Series / ARTIST: Various / LABEL: Metalheadz / RELEASE DATE: 29th September 2008 / CAT NO: METHCD010

Following on the huge success of last year’s album ‘Call to Mind’, Metalheadz present ‘The Platinum Series’, a compilation of cutting-edge tracks produced by some of the scene’s leading producers. If that wasn’t enough, work has begun on Commix’s remix album, ‘Recall to Mind’, featuring top artists from various genres within the dance world. How does a Burial remix sound to you?

From the broken, staggered assault of Break’s ‘Combination Style’, to the abstract, nocturnal depths of Noisia’s ‘The Strange Owl Experiment’, ‘The Platinum Series’ takes you on through an array of sound-scapes, textures and emotions.

Released on vinyl, cd, and mp3 and mastered to perfection by Stuart Hawkes of Metropolis, ‘The Platinum Series’ is an essential addition to your drum and bass collection. The album features stunning artwork, and as part of the whole package there’s a picture disc containing two remixes by the mighty Doc Scott and G.Dub.

Next year, Metalheadz celebrates its fifteenth year and will be releasing a special CD featuring some of the best Metalheadz singles from over the years. Expect classics such as the sublime Pulp Fiction, the ominous Stone Killer and more! Headz up!
