Nelson’s 2nd UK release, The (Over) Song has storming riffs, military-esque drum beats and remixes from some of the hottest names in town! The original stands on its own with great effect and with a definite nod in the direction of Interpol crossed with The Rapture or Joy Division meets Animal Collective, it’s not hard to see why. With the added clout of Chicken Lips (best known for there 2003 Azuli pressing of ‘He Not In’, which to this day is still a huge club anthem, and more recently the un-official remix of Mark Ronson’s ‘Stop Me’], there’s little to argue with here.

Midfield General (aka Damian Harris the original founder of the Skint records label) and two more killer mixes from Black Mike (aka Mark Rankin, engineer for Paul Epworth – new Primal Scream LP / Blocparty / Kate Nash and Sam Sparro) and The Shoes (who’s remixes include, Santogold Lights Out’, Wiley Wearing My Rolex’ and Hard-FiI Shall Overcome’ to name a few) this release we are sure will find its way to many a DJs box and radio station playlist…

Their album Revolving Doors is out on September 29th 2008, so keep a look out!
