10yearsoftechniqueTITLE: 10 Years of Technique [Part 1] / ARTIST: Drumsound and Bassline Smith / LABEL: Technique / RELEASE DATE: July 2009

1. Junglist (Remix)
2. Time (Remix)
3. Testament
4. Tokyo Electric

Drumsound & Simon ‘Bassline’ Smith‘s imprint is celebrating a decade in the game and this is the first EP featuring music from the massive celebratory album project released later this month.

First up we have 4 tracks from the big bosses themselves, which have been getting extensive play throughout the world. The 2009 remix of “Junglist” is one of the biggest tunes out there right now, taking the original’s unforgettable signature riff and fusing it with some 21st century scientifics. Guaranteed warfare on the dancefloor. “Testament” is an absolute hulk of a tune, with a drop that will dismantle any rave it’s unleashed on, whilst the infectious groove on “Tokyo Electric“, shows a different side to the legendary trio altogether. To underline Technique’s diversity, check out the ultra-slick rolling liquid groove on “Time“.

It’s a quality package all round – but then did you expect anything less? Look out for more instalments in the ‘10 Years of Technique‘ project coming soon…
