A Guy Called Gerald
On May 29th the clubbing landscape in London will be transformed forever. 3 underground institutions combine forces for the very first time to bring you a brand new night of monumental proportions. Wang, Split and Base will need no introductions to any Londoner with a penchant for quality underground electronic music, with over 3 decades of experience between them throwing some of the most forward thinking nights in the capital. By ‘clubbing’ together they feel they have managed to strike just the right ‘BALANCE’ and will be hosting a new bi-monthly night on the last Friday of every other month at uber-cool new venue CABLE in London Bridge.
Their opening night on the 29th May, reads like a who’s who of techno and electro, with Detroit electro pioneer’s Aux 88- Live jetting in for an exclusive UK live show; techno wunderkind Surgeon, performing the london debut of his brand new audio and visual live show; Luke Slater making a rare London appearance playing a Planetary Assault Systems DJ Set; an exclusive live acid set from acid house legend A Guy Called Gerald and DJ support from Billy Nasty, alongside residents Jim Masters, Electro Elvis & Lula, Ben Sims and Alex Downey.
WANG – Less of a club, more of a party
